Manager

Dan serves as the Manager of Avaring Capital Advisors, LLC.  In 2010, he founded The Investment Chronicles, LLC, an investment and business e-newsletter aimed at the student market where he served as the President, Editor and CEO.  His responsibilities included writing and editing quality content, marketing, and advising freelance writers of The Investment Chronicles on various business opportunities and issues.  Prior to starting The Investment Chronicles, Mr. Jones acted as a life and health insurance agent for United American/Liberty National Insurance.

While attending Case Western Reserve University in the study of Accounting, Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Jones developed an interest in various aspects of business and investments.  He participated in the Saint-Gobain Competition as well as in the Case Entrepreneur’s Club business competition as a financial analyst.  His group went on to earn second place in both cases.

Additionally, Dan serves as the President of the Case Chess Club and advises students and entrepreneurs at Case on developing a professional, forward-looking approach to making investment and business decisions.
